I’m Heather Piazza, the Principal of Piazza Marketing Concepts. I’ve been marketing products and services for as long as I can remember! Professionally speaking, I spent over 10 years serving in a variety of corporate marketing roles including Associate Communications Manager, Product Manager, Assistant Publicist, and Retail Communications Specialist. My home-away-from-home for those 10 years included Portal Publications and Smith & Hawken.
I am a lifelong learner and believe my clients should be, too. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications and a Masters Degree in Marketing. I regularly attend conferences, leadership forums, and online workshops to stay at the top of my game. As you know, there is so much to learn!

In late 2010, I spread my wings and started Piazza Marketing Concepts. Over the last several years, it has been my great pleasure to help organizations like yours enhance their brand identity while also crafting marketing strategies and communications plans that work! My speciality has been in working with nonprofits, educational institutions, and government entities.
I take a different approach to my work than your typical marketing consultant. Working with me will feel like you have an extra member on your team. Together, we will focus on such things as building a strong brand, crafting or enhancing methodologies to attract new customers, and creating processes to retain those customers once you have them on board.
The result of our work will almost always be the creation of new systems that will take your organization to the next level.
I believe that there is so much more to a thriving organization than just pretty collateral. To me, organizations that are strong and resilient are like well-oiled machines. With this in mind, I take a big picture approach with each and every project.
Call me a geek, but I want to see how all of the pieces of your organization work together (or in some cases) don’t work together. This big picture view allows me the opportunity to provide recommendations not only for brand management and marketing communications, but also for operation processes, organizational work flow, and project management.

Walking the Talk
Giving back to the community is incredibly important to me.
I currently sit on the Board for NEWS (domestic violence and sexual assault services) and serve as the Marketing Chair. I am on the Marketing and Asset Development Committee for the Napa Valley Community Foundation and a Founding Member of 100 Women Who Care of Napa County (one of my favorite ways to fundraise ever!!). I am also the Assistant Coach and Team Manager for my daughter's competitive soccer team.
I am a Founding Member and former Board Member for the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation. After the South Napa Earthquake in August of 2014, I volunteered my time and services as a part of the Napa Valley Rocks! Coalition which raised money for earthquake victims. In 2012, I served as the Marketing Chair for Wine Women & Shoes Napa Valley benefiting NEWS.
